There are quite a few issues to consider when attempting to retrofit an old bike trailer with a bike trailer hitch. We have written a post addressing the issues to consider when attempting this fix here: Hitches and Couplers

I have been searching for the hitch/clamp for my schwinn bike trailer for my two sons. I can't seem to find the remedy, but was wondering if you would kindly direct me to the place where I can get a replacement. I have the spring on the part where the hitch/clamp should be. I heard these clamps have been a real PINTA. Please help.
