Hi Josh, I found your blog whilst researching bike trailers, its pretty cool, thanks for the info. I'm building a carbon fibre trailer for my roadbike at the moment, looked into buying but at $700 local thought no way!.

I happened to have plenty of cf, kevlar, e-glass, foam core, ply and a few 44s of epoxy lying around so I set about building one, should be finished in a couple of days.

Again, thanks for the info mate.

Help with trailer tires. I found a niche fixing up used baby/jogging bike stollers but cannot find any wheel manufactures. Ideally a 16 inch with 3-5 spokes would be perfect. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I have some history of single wheelers and will send pix etc if you tell me how to do attachments.
This is not one of mine but dates from 1955 and you will love it!
Maybe you know of it already.
Cheers,
Tony

As far as bike tents go, the bikamper (http://www.rei.com/product/732405) is interesting. I have heard some good things about the MSR velo (room in vestibbule for bikes and gear—no longer available?) and the concept behind tent hammocks (<a href="http://www.mec.ca/Products/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441776493&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302702959&bmUID=1210029146645" rel="nofollow">link</a>) have appeal as well.

I can see potential withe the speed lobster, and the trailer itself is interesting.

[I still use a 1999(?) Salewa Burgen]
